Title: Halfway to a Threeway
Fandom: Leverage
Pairing: Kinda sorta Parker/Hardison/Eliot
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Summary: Parker is a tease and Hardison knows everything

Parker.

Maybe she didn't realize she was doing it. No, she couldn't know she was doing it. Girl was downright clueless when it came to anything even resembling a social interaction, not to mention ten different kinds of crazy. No way she knew.

But that girl was a tease.

Sure, she was all casual and Parker-like about it, but there she was all the same. Being all alluring and get out sexy.

He was lucky. He'd managed to get her. Hardison had conquered the beast and gotten the crazy, wondrous, weird as hell girl. And sure, it wasn't perfect. She didn't always get that scaling buildings and breaking into vaults wasn't what normal people did for fun. And maybe he wasn't what most people would consider normal, being as brilliant and talented as he was, and with maybe a little bit of an unhealthy affection towards his surveillance vans, but he was sure as hell normal enough to be afraid of leaping off buildings. Despite that, despite everything that wasn't perfect, he had her. And he was the lucky one.

Eliot, on the other hand, didn't. Poor guy had it bad and Parker didn't even see it. Mr. Punchy didn't really help matters. Everyone knew that Parker was, well, Parker; she didn't get things the way people did. She was a little naive and a little child-like about anything that wasn't thieving and even then it was a little iffy. But she wasn't dumb; if a guy just flat out told her he was in love with her, she'd get it and everyone could live happily ever after.

But Eliot was just a grouchy pants whenever Parker made any sort of overture, whether it was giving him something that she thought was amazing or if it was asking his advice about something she was worried about. Poor girl probably thought no one knew about that part but Hardison knew everything. So he knew that, no matter what Eliot tried to make it look like, he was definitely into Parker, probably didn't say anything to her out of some crazy sense of honour or something about not hitting on a friend's girl. Even if the friend thought a little hitting on his girl was in order.

Hell, he'd settle for a little hitting on him. But hitting on Parker was probably less likely to be the sign of the apocalypse. Not that he was into guys or anything but Hardison would absolutely hit that. And not even in Eliot's hitting kind of way. Maybe saying he'd tap that would be better in this situation.

It didn't look at all like the situation would resolve itself anytime soon, and Parker was too blind and Eliot was too...whatever he was to do anything about it. Meaning it was left to Hardison to handle things. As usual.

So one day he went right up to Parker and said: "Eliot's in love with you."

To which she, very understandably, replied: "What?"

"Eliot. You know, Mr. Punchyface? He's in love with you."

"...What?"

Poor thing was confused. Maybe she just wasn't able to form full thoughts, so Hardison decided that what she had actually asked was how he knew. "Baby, I know everything there is to know. And I think you should go for it."

"But what about you?"

"Oh, I'm not saying I wouldn't play too. If there was a possibility." Which, you know, there 99.9% wasn't. Parker didn't seem to think so, though, because she screwed up her face in that adorable way she did and just shouted right across the room.

"Eliot, do you like Hardison?"

"What?"

Why was everyone saying that? Sure, he was surrounded by a bunch of people who were completely inept at social interactions, himself included at least half the time, but he'd never thought there would be such a stunning lack of vocabulary.

"Hardison. Do you love him, too?" And why was Parker so insistent about that?

"Too? What are you.... Shut up."

Which, of course, meant that he did because it wasn't like Eliot was ever going to just come out and admit that he even liked Hardison, much less that he had real romantic feelings toward him. But Hardison really did know everything. So he knew that Eliot`s lack of answer was an answer itself, and maybe one day he could draw an honest confession out of the guy. That day was probably long and far off, but maybe it would come.

In the meantime, maybe he should play at teasing Eliot too. Not anything that would get him punched in the face, or have his equipment blown up or anything, but a Parker-like tease wouldn't hurt anyone.
