Title: Sexytimes Part Twenty-Six - Neal/Peter/Elizabeth

Pairing: Neal/Peter/Elizabeth
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Length: 500 words

The whole thing started because Neal had announced he wanted to kiss Peter's wife.

Peter had laughed at first, but Neal was serious and after making that abundantly clear, Peter gave him the go ahead to ask Elizabeth if it was okay.

"Tomorrow," he'd said. "Not now. Tomorrow."

Neal assumed it was so Peter could prepare her for what was coming. So he waited for tomorrow and then Neal asked. For someone who was normally so smooth and comfortable talking to people, he was a big knot of nerves, but he did it and Elizabeth had smiled at him with her kind, gentle smile, the one Neal had come to love about her, and said yes. It was possibly the best kiss Neal had ever experienced, which was saying a lot if he considered how many women, and a few men, he'd kissed in his time in order to get what he wanted. Kissing Elizabeth was different; it was because he wanted to, not because he wanted something, and maybe her being married to one of his best friends had something to do with it too. But Peter had said he could ask, must have told Elizabeth it was okay to say yes, so he must be okay with it.

Neal found out just how okay 'okay' meant when Peter took him home for lunch the very next day. Neal had cracked a joke about going for a little three-way nooner, and he was actually stricken speechless when Peter very casually agreed that was exactly what was going on. Neal didn't believe it right up until he was stripped down in their bedroom, watching Elizabeth carefully, and pointedly, hanging up his suit. In lingerie so slight and lacy he was sure he should never be allowed to see it.

Not that he hadn't seen equally or more risqué lingerie, but this was Elizabeth Burke.

The whole thing was clearly something Peter and Elizabeth had planned, though, because they took the lead in some weird sort of synchronicity and led Neal right into their bed where they proceeded to make it seem like the whole thing was about him.

Right up until Peter's phone rang, anyway. And still not completely sure what was going on, and a bit of an idiot, Neal encouraged him to get it.

The second Peter saw the call display, his expression shifted to apologetic and he looked right at Neal and Elizabeth on the bed as he answered. "What's up, Jones?"

They all knew that was the cue to get back to work, so Elizabeth moved away from Neal with a sigh. He kissed her again, quickly, apologetically.

"Next time," he promised with a smile. Next time when he was better prepared to understand what was happening around him, could be an impressively active participant, he would blow their socks off. Figuratively.

"You'd better believe it," she laughed, and ushered him toward the closet. "Put your pants on and go catch me some bad guys."
