Title: Sexytimes Part Thirty-Seven - Jo/Claire
Fandom: Eureka/Heroes
Pairing: Jo Lupo/Claire Bennett
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Length: 475 words
There were strange college students in Eureka.
Strange, drunken college students who were supposed to be having a round of interviews with GD. But instead they were running around town in the middle of the night, making a ruckus and disturbing sleeping geniuses. Which would be fine, except they called Carter, who called Jo, and Jo had no one else to call. So there she was, walking around town and rounding up the drunken students and sending them back to their rooms.
She found the short blonde one staring at the Einstein statue like she couldn't understand what it was.
Jo was just going to round her up like the others, but she giggled and smeared old Albert's face with lipstick, and Jo was annoyed enough at being out in the middle of the night at all that she couldn't just let it go. So she arrested her for vandalism, even if it was a stupid charge and she wouldn't be able to hold her longer than overnight, at the longest. But Jo was in the kind of mood that overnight was enough.
She dragged the girl down to the station in cuffs, processed her. Her name was Claire Bennett, she was twenty-two and from California. And Jo didn't care at all, beyond that it was all required information for her paperwork. She wanted nothing more than to lock the girl up and go home to get back to her bed. Jo really didn't expect to end up making out with Claire Bennett on the creaky little bed in the cell, her prisoner still with the handcuffs around one wrist as they tried to get one another out of their clothes.
She really didn't expect to be enjoying it. Enough that she was honestly annoyed when, before she could even start getting properly worked up, Carter came into the station and, very poorly, tried to hide his laughter behind his awkwardness.
"Whatcha doing, Jo?"
"Interrogating a prisoner; what does it look like?" she grouched at him, and looked around for her pants. Wondered how they got all the way out of the cell and hating that that fact meant she would have to go over there without them. Right in front of Carter.
"Looks like you're doing something a little different with that prisoner. What's she in for?"
"Public drunkenness and vandalism." Jo tried really hard not to look uncomfortable when she fetched her pants.
Carter just looked at the report she had written before un-cuffing the girl, shook his head and announced that smearing lipstick on Einstein was no cause for arrest, no matter what mood Jo was in, and that they were releasing her. With a warning to stay out of trouble.
Claire Bennett pretty much raced out of the station, and Jo avoided eye contact with Carter as she did the same.
